Money & Investing communities: common questions

Are trading communities safe to join?
Quality varies enormously. Avoid anything promising guaranteed returns or requiring you to sign up through a specific broker referral link, and prefer communities that discuss losses openly.
What is the difference between a signal group and an education community?
Signal groups tell you what to trade; education communities teach you to decide for yourself. The second is slower and considerably more useful.
Are personal finance communities worth paying for?
Often yes, for accountability rather than information. The information is free everywhere; sticking to it with other people is the part that works.
